I don't think I ever posted an update from when I asked about chamomile tea last week. Not sure if anybody keeps up with me but I HAVE to put this out there for all of the colicky babies and their mamas on the board. I picked up a box of chamomile tea Wednesday morning before work. Got home that night a brewed a cup (8oz per tea bag) and let it cool. I poured 2 oz in a little bottle after it was room temperature. She wasn't really a fan (I'm sure it was the bitter taste) but she downed 1 oz and was asleep for the night (or until her next feeding time). I didn't want to jinx myself but oh was I so happy! The next night I tried a smidge of sugar in the tea to help with the taste- still just an ounce but again, she was great all night. The 3rd night I just mixed it with a scoop of formula and used that in her bottle instead of water- she drank it all.
Today will be 1 week that her colic related fussiness has been soothed with chamomile tea and we are both very happy campers! I can't believe that it is really working but IT IS!!
I had tried gripe water and gas drops and neither helped her at all. Yay for finding a solution!

52 Choices For Better Health
I'm so glad it worked for you! I'd considered making formula with chamomile tea for my fussy little girl (you and I were due the same day, but my twins were born three weeks early), but never actually did it.
Fortunately, colic passes; I hope it's soon for you!
