I am 1 day overdue

So I get to spend my morning doing a fluid U/S NST etc.   Better safe than sorry I guess- If LO wants to take her time that's fine, I just wish she would tell me when she plans to make her entrance b/c the anticipation is making me batty! For those who have done NSTs, any tips-I hear they can be terribly long.

    When I had NSTs with DD they were absolutely no less than 20 minutes of being on the strip.  So the whole NST appt would take a good 30 minutes in the least.  Luckily all you have to do is lay there :)  I think the thing that takes the longest is just waiting for a doc to give you the 'okay' to go.  So it depends on how busy they are.

    Luckily, MH came with me for mine.  My nurse was really nice and politely chatted with me for part of it and left the room for some.  I was hooked up probably around 30-45 minutes.  Then I had an u/s and bloodwork and they hooked me back up to the NST for a second run through.  I pulled out my phone and texted my family the second time.
