Both my kids woke up. Both are not fans of thunderstorms at all. It did quiet down about 3:45 but then my smoke alarms went off like six different times every 10 minutes. No damage to our neighborhood or anything. How did everyone else do?
DS was up at 8:15, 1, 3, 4, and 5. But I'm not sure how much of that we can attribute to the storm and how much to his RSV, cough, FOUR teeth that are coming in at once, or the wonder week he's currently in. The bad news is it's been like this for more than a week already. The good news is . . . um . . . we're 1.5 weeks in and it can't last forever?

Why the F do they always go off in the middle of the night? That happened at our house a couple weeks ago. Sucks!
We did great. I did keep waking up, but love drifting off to sleep to the sound of a thunderstorm. DD does, too evidently. She would wake up, make sweet cooing sounds, and go back to sleep.
And the stupid dog that's afraid of thunderstorms was in the room with my stupid husband, so I didn't have to deal with either of them! HA!
Last night was great. I had all kids in bed and asleep by 7:15pm and then had a wonderful friend come sit with the girls so the my DH and I could have our first date night since August. I have been real nervous leaving Sarah with just anyone. We had a great dinner then my older two slept all night. and Sarah slept until 4am ate and went right back down till 8am. The storms didn't bother them at all.
Let's see, I went to bed at midnight after working 12.5 hours on Tuesday and woke up at 2:00 a.m. when my dog was freaking his freak about the thunder. Gracie woke up at 2:45 and was a little freaked by the lightning show outside her window so I brought her in to our bed. She tossed and turned and kicked me in the back all.night.long. Between the storm, my dog and Gracie, I am running on 2 hours of sleep today and I am super grumpy.
L slept all night...I don't think it even phased him. DH was awake a lot of the night. I got maybe 2 hrs of sleep. I was having contractions on and off last night and am so uncomfortable ... and the storm certainly didn't help either.
Ditto MC. I woke up to the massive thunder and laid there, waiting for little feet to run into our room. At one point, I even got up to make sure they were both still breathing, because how in the world could anyone sleep through that? I'm tired, but the kids are fine, well-rested and have lots of energy. Yay.
A woke up at 1:30, then 3:30, then 5:15, then was quite unpleasant all morning because she was tired. DH was up all night in the bathroom. He also got up at 12 to put towels on his truck because he'd heard there was going to be hail.
Re: How was everyones night?
DD slept right through like the rock star she is.
