repeating everything

This morning Evie points to the trash can where we put her dirty diapers and said, "That is disgusting."  (It wasn't, I swear!)

Tim often adlibs her Yummy and Yucky book, so I asked him if he has been calling it delicious and disgusting, but he said no.  I called my sister to tell her and she just laughed at me.  She said, "Maria!  That is your word.  You say disgusting all the time." 

Really, I never realized.  Whoops.  Embarrassed

    LOL!

    I have to start watching what I say. I actually made a comment about that's dumb last night, and DD was repeating saying Tim was dumb. Oops! I had to tell her we don't say those words, go apologize to Daddy.

    I've been on DH to quit calling things "stupid." So far Evie hasn't said it, but it's just a matter of time.

    haha! they are so funny. we have a little parrot too. we need to watch what we say more, because while we are pretty good about not swearing, I have heard him repeat stuff like "that sucks" or "that's stupid"

    His new saying is "oh my gracious!" which I am certain he picked up from one of the older ladies at daycare. lol.

    I've been trying to tamp down my potty mouth, but apparently I'm still saying the f-word a lot (DH pointed out to me) that I said it at lunch the other day - I have no recollection of this.

    Haha!  Cute!  I told DH the other day that we have to start watching what we say because D' is becoming quite the little mockingbird.  My main offense is when I'm driving, I yell at other drivers.  I'm getting much better (at least mumbling under my breath instead of yelling out ^_^) but I'm still working on curbing it!

    Aiden has picked up so many of my catch phrases that I didn't even realize I said.  My favorite is "are you kidding me?!"  He says it in such a snarky way, too!  It definitely gives you a new perspective and makes you think twice about what comes out of your mouth.
