I had a doctor's appointment yesterday where he offered to induce me today, as I am trying to go all natural, I declined so he set me up with biophysical profile and nonstress test. MH and I went up to L&D today for this and it went really well. My nurse was very nice. She said Miss Nora was stubborn and hard to find with the monitors, "no wonder she's not coming out." We got to see her a little bit on the u/s, but the tech was very quiet. My blood pressure was good, which it isn't always at my OB's office, because I get nervous. My OB was actually at the hospital at the time and said everything looked good and he'd see me in the morning to go over my bloodwork they were waiting for. I also learned the hospital has a 2:1 patient to nurse ratio during labor and 1:1 for epis, c-sections, pushing and immediate recovery. I'm really excited to my LO to get a move on things.
Best part of it was, I haven't felt any contractions so far and they told me I had two that lasted 2 1/2 minutes long! I hope they all go that easy! Hahahaha. Nurse said she wouldn't be surpised if I go in the next day or two. Here's hoping! Time for another piece of labor cake...
