How much should LO sleep?

How much does your LO sleep?

I feel like DS has been sleeping an extra lot the past 2 days.  He is 2.5 weeks old and only staying awake between 1 or 2 feedings a day (we bf every 3 hours).

He has had a cold for the last week so maybe that is part of it...but I am curious how much your LOs sleep.

    DD is awake for maybe 3-4 hours a day and that is spread throughout the day. Pretty much as soon as she eats, she starts to go back to sleep. Then she sleeps until we wake her up for her next feeding. But she is also a bit younger...

    Mine pretty much sleeps all day.  He wakes to eat then goes back to sleep.  A few days here and there he will stay up between a feeding (so maybe up for 2-3 hrs) but he doesn't do it every day maybe a few times a week.

    Mine just turned a week old yesterday and he sleeps all day. He wakes up for a bottle, but won't wake up to breastfeed. It's like my breasts are puffy pillow for his sleeping pleasure. I was wondering this same question. Good to know mine isn't the only one who sleeps all day. He'll wake up during the night and be ready to go around 2:30. Ugh!
