We had our first checkup yesterday at 5 days old and DD has only gained half an ounce (5lb 8oz to 5lb 8.5oz). She weighed 5lb 13oz when she was born and I am freaking out that she hasn't gained pretty much anything.
It also didn't feel so awesome to see that she was in the 3-5%ile for weight
Re: How much weight has your LO lost/gained?

5/1/11 - BFP #3 - Pre-eclampsia, IUGR & bed rest from 32w. DD born via induction 1/4/12.
We've been up and down. I think as long as your LO is going in the right direction and having enough wet/dirty diapers it's fine. The doctors like them to gain their birth weight back by two weeks. DD went two days after the hospital with no diapers and a big weight loss. We were at the doctor almost every day to check her weight. She's finally gaining the right way.
Born - 7lb 10 oz.
Discharged from hospital (2 days old) - 6 lb. 15 oz.
Weigh in #1 (3 days old) - 6 lb. 6 oz.
Weigh in #2 (4 days old) - 6 lb. 12 oz.
Weigh in #3 (1 week old) - 6 lb. 13 oz.
Weigh in #4 (10 days old) - 7 lb. 2 oz.
If you're BFing, she may have also lost some more while waiting for your milk to come in and actually gained more back than you realize.
Thanks everyone!
Ped wasn't worried about it. He made the comment that it was good that she didn't lose more weight. I should just listen to him (and DH, who keeps telling me not to worry)
