I suck at being domestic...

I injured poor FI this morning. He took the day off today to spend with DS and I. Well, part of my every morning routine is vacuuming (I have two big dogs). As I was vacuuming FI and our 99 lb black lab (Tank) were playing "chase" around the house. Tank loves to play chase and usually tries to taunt me with the vacuum. Well as I was vacuuming the nursery FI and Tank ran into the room. I thought I would join the fun by chasing Tank with the vacuum because he likes when I do that. As I pushed the vacuum quickly towards him, it went right over FI's foot. He dropped to the floor in pain and when I looked down I saw I had torn off his toenail!! I felt sooooo bad! Bless his heart, he said "I can't be mad at you baby, you were just trying to have fun." Had he done that to me I would have ripped his head off!

Andddd I must confess... I baked two dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies yesterday. I may or may not have eaten a dozen of them....by myself.

While I cringed at the image of a toenail being removed against my will, I admit I giggled since you guys were just having some fun and your FI took it in stride.

Ouch! I cringed and curled my toes when I read that!

Glad FI was a good sport about it - can't get made for having a little fun with the fur babies. They need love and attention too! Hopefully there will be a speedy toenail recovery for him!
