Raise for nanny when baby #2 is born?!?

Hello ladies,

I have a dilemma. We definitely want to give our nanny a raise when our second child is born but we aren't sure what is a fair amount. We pay $10/hr now for one child.

wow, that is pretty cheap! you're getting a good deal so i woud bump her up to $15 an hour. you would pay so much more for than that for 2 kids in daycare.

I work at a nanny agency and we usually tell our families $1-2/hr increase in pay with the addition of a new child. Good luck!
