LO is sick again :(

We just can't catch a break. LO has been barfing up all his food (not just a little spit up, it's like a volcano, everything comes up) for like 2 days now. No fever but he's sleeping more than usual too. Called the docs office last night and they said to give him just pedialyte for the night and bring him to the doc at 9 today. 

To top it off, it's DH's day off but he has a really bad cold and is not in any condition to take care of LO, so I had to call in sick for today. This mom thing isn't easy.

    Sorry to hear that. It's always a scary time when your baby is sick. I hope they both get to feeling better soon.

    I'm sorry :( We're having a hard night over here too. LO has been up every 2 hrs either wanting to eat or just being fussy and uncomfortable with gas. & DH isn't helping any. LO woke up 15 min ago at 5:30 and I all I got from DH was a rude request that I keep the baby in the living room so that he can get some sleep before he has to go to work. So I guess I'll just be couchin it up with LO...

    If DH would have said that to me, I would have:

    1) been ticked off 

    2) intentionally stayed in the room.  I would have justified this by saying I am tired and being a mom is work too.

    My husband pulled that once.  I stayed in the room, turned the light and the TV on.  I know you shouldn't stimulate LO when it is night time but I was so pissed off at him for saying that, I figured one time wouldn't hurt and any consequences would be worth it.
