Worst.Refulx.Ever (vent)

I have had reflux, Gerd, heartburn, etc for 10 years now. Definitely ranging in intensity and some days are much better than others, but last night was the worst I have ever had. The reflux I have been experiencing this pregnancy usually goes up my throat a bit or a little bit goes in my mouth and I take a drink of water and all is good. Well last night I wake up in shock as vomit flavored liquid shoots out of my nose! It was so gross!!! I sat there trying to wake up a bit and then of course it took me about an hour to relax and fall back asleep as the vomit flavored liquid drains out of my nose and down my throat as I try to lay back down.

Ick!

    i have actually never had acid reflux before, until i got pregnant and it is god awful. last night, boyfriend and i went out for korean food and i have no idea what came over me but i was chowing down like i had never eaten before.

    needless to say when we got home, i could not lay down without it coming back up. it was awful and disgusting and i was up allllll night. so youre not alone! :)

    I was going to say I had a really rough night too...it all kept coming back up in my mouth...but yours is way worse! 

    Ive never really had bad reflux / heartburn (at least not since I was a baby), but it has been awful this pregnancy. No matter what I do...even not eating makes it bad. I literally woke up and took Tums at 3 different times last night.

    I know LO needs to bake a little longer, but I can't wait for him to be out so I can be done with this symptom!

    i used to get just normal old heartburn before i got pregnant if i ate spicy or acidy food. now that im preggo it doesnt matter what i eat; i get flames coming out my throat. i have to take tums almost everytime i get up to pee at night (every two hours) and most often it doesnt even help. i wake up with stomach acid shooting up my throat into my mouth. if i let myself get hungry its horrid. makes my mouth water it hurts so bad; and sometimes i throw up. tmi sorry, but yeah its horrible.
