I go back to work in march so we have been working on getting LO to take a bottle for a month now and he fights it like you won't believe. I have tried every nipple & bottle out there. He seems to fight the Tommee tippee the least. Well this morning I was grabbing my water bottle out of the fridge before sitting down to feed him and saw the cold Tommee tippee waiting for tonight and thought why not try it cold. What do you know he took to it with no arguments. Halfway through I of course started second guessing myself and wondering if it's ok considering it takes your body more calories to warm up a cold drink. Could this be bad?
Re: Feeding cold a BM bottle?
I've heard cold BM is fine - usually LO's prefer it warm though! Mine is very picky about temperature
I never warmed a bottle of BM for DD#1. If he'll take it, why make more work for yourself?
