Nipple Sizes

Is anyone now using a fast flow nipple? My LO uses Playtex Ventaire Advanced and has been getting frustrated/fussing during feedings and wasn't eating much. Tonight I gave her 5oz with the fast flow and of course she ate faster, wasn't fussing and ate the whole thing. I didn't think she would like them already but I will experiment again.

Is anyone eles increased nipple size yet? 

The title is much funner than the actual post huh? Lol.

    Ya know? I've been wondering if I should switch too. We're using the #2s... I guess a medium flow, but she has been doing a lot of grunting and flailing while she eats lately. Hmm....

    Yea I was about to be like well...let's just say the size has gone up since I got pregnant lol. 

    We use the playtex dropins nursers and we use the fast flow nipples. We actually switched very early on, because we used the Enfamil ready to feed from birth and they came with fast flow nipples. We tried the slow flow nipples once and she got so frustrated about it that we switched right then. She does great with them.

    To each their own I think.

    Sorry, a little bit of a thread jack but, for those of you who have switched sizes, did it take LO a couple tries to get use to it? I bought some medium flow nipples and DD had a little bit of milk dribble down her chin and seemed a little, I guess confused, on how to handle the faster flow. Should I stick with the slow flow for a whole longer?

    I was a little worried to open this, lol. 

    We are still using the slow flow ones but I think it's time to move up. DS plays a lot while he's eating and I think it's because not enough is coming out.

    Yea it did take her a while to figure out the fast flow without making a huge mess. I checked with my doctor and he said that as long as she isn't choking or spitting up a lot, it's fine and to just stick with it. She does much better now, but is still a bit of a messy eater.

    We switched to the medium flow 2 weeks ago and LO is doing good with it. With the slow flow it would take 45 mins to finish his bottle. Now he finishes them in 20 mins and doesn't fall asleep!
