So my ped suggested I give our bf son vitamin D drops, which I just started giving him two nights ago. Both nights have been hell - he's been up all night, he's been extremely gassy, and BOTH of us are exhausted. Do you think it could be the vitamins, or do you think it might be the 6 week growth spurt or something?
Re: could it be the vitamin d drops?
"God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it" 1 Corinthians 10:13Thank you! Question - was it your pediatrician that warned you of this, or a friend? Just curious. Thanks!
We had problems with our first doses of Vit D as well. It was the 1 mL dropper and he had terrible gas and having screaming fits. Did it for two days, and stopped and he went back to normal. Tried again when he was older and it happened again. Now the pedi gave us Vit D that is just two tiny drops a day and he's been doing fine on that so far. I've read on the boards about Carlson Vit D drops that you can buy on Amazon, unfortunately for me they don't ship to military addresses overseas.
It was a healthcare nurse when I had his 2 month shots. Sorry it took me so long to reply, I didn't see your question until this morning.
