After birth registry discounts

I have heard from several people that BRU offers big discounts on your registry items after your due date for whatever hasn't been purchased. I am not a BRU fan and have done our registry on Amazon, mostly because its easier to keep track of for our own sake. I was wondering if Amazon offers these discounts also? I am considering doing a duplicate BRU registry for the same items as our Amazon one just to get the discounts afterwards...wdyt?

    It's only 10% off and can only be used once. But if you have a rewards card that is attached to your registry, when people buy stuff @ Babies R Us off the registry you rack up the points. I think we ended up with about $45 in rewards certificates to use.

    Amazon offers the 10% too.....its seems all of them offer the 10% discount.  Im not a BRU fan either so I am not registered there.  Chose Amazon instead.

    I am registered at Target, and I'm pretty sure they offer me a discount up to 3 months after the baby is born on the un-purchased items. It's only 10%, but it's something.
