Oh no, I'm scared this is really it now 2nd update

I was fine all day. Now I've got bright red blood. Enough to stain my panty liner. Time to call the doc, I think. Question is, should I call med link tonight or wait till the morning?

Eta: DH freaked his freak so we ran straight to SNW ER. Waiting in the room for the doctor.

2 eta : doc came, they did blood work and a pelvic. Pelvic showed lots of blood but the cervical os (opening to the uterus) looked closed, so that's good. However, she said even if the ultrasound looked good, we still aren't fully in the clear. So now we've had the ultrasound and are waiting for the radiologist to read it so the ER doc can tell us the results. Even DH was irritated that they couldn't tell us right then. So here we wait.

I had bright red blood in the same quantities at 8 weeks when I was pregnant w/ Ben. Everything turned out fine.

I don't know if you've had a m/c before, but it could be and probably is nothing. If it makes you feel better, you can call tonight, but I have a feeling there won't be anything to do until the A.M. (unless you start bleeding much more.)

I'm so sorry this is happening, so scary.

Are you cramping at all? I would be calling. They might tell you to go to the ER and get an u/s.

I'm praying hard it's absolutely nothing. ((hugs))

I'd call too. I had bright red bleeding up to about 12 weeks with #2, so it could be nothing to worry about. I'd still call though. Hope it turns out to be nothing concerning!

I'm so sorry. I had bright red blood as well during my last pregnancy, enough to stain a real pad, and it turned out okay. I'm hoping that's true for you too! Lots of sticky dust your way!!

I would call the dr tonight to make you feel better. With Andrew I had bleeding (bright red) and the dr said it happens to some women with all the extra blood flow.

As for my mc I had major cramps that knocked me at the knees and had me crying in pain.

Oh and for the record, I am prone to vaginal irritation so that made it worse for me.
