I'm bored, so I'm chiming in...but my chunky monkey has only gained 1 pound since he turned 1 (so one pound in 6 months). But he has really shot up in height!
Don't remember exact numbers but I think he gained between 5 and 6 lbs? He was on the skinny side before though and height grew at same rate (at 1 year he was about 15% percentile for weight, 50% for height, by 2 he was 50% for weight and 95% for height).
We haven't had their two year check up yet, but I think DS gained 3 or 4 lbs and DD gained maybe 2 lbs. I am assuming DS will be in the normal size range, but DD is pretty small, still wearing 12-18 months clothes at 2 yo. DS is at least 3 inches taller than her, people never assume they are twins anymore.

At 1 year, Jacob was 23lbs, 12oz and 32 1/4" tall. He was around the 65th percentile for weight and 97th percentile for height.
At 2 years, he was 29lbs, 6oz and 36 1/4" tall. Same percentile for weight, but he dropped to the 90th percentile for height. (At 2.5 years, he was off the chart for height at 40"!)
So, he gained about 5-6lbs in a year. And he grew 4". (And then he grew nearly 4 more inches in 6 months!)
It was true for me (small sample size!)...I don't have her charts with me right now since we're out of town but I think she gained ~2-3 lbs or so (max)...she was a peanut weight-wise (but on the taller side) and was under 20 lbs at 1 and then didn't even hit it until 18 months. I do think it was the whole on-the-move thing that everyone says b/c she's always been a huge eater.

We are not to 2 yet, either, but also thoought I would comment. DD has gained 1.5lbs since her birthday (almost 18 mos now), but has definitely gotten taller. From months 12-15, she gained nothing. She also eats just as much, if not more than DS. DS has gained maybe 2lbs since 12 mos, and his also occured after 15 mos (he did a lot of holiday eating :P) I brought up DD's lack of weight gain at their 15 mo well check. Pedi looked at me (I'm very tall/thin), and asked if I was pretty sure I was their mother :-/ Yep, that shut me up. He said this is around the time that genetics kicks in, and she may just have a fast metabolism.
Not sure if that's what you were wondering about, but thought I would throw in our experience. I haven't even checked the growth charts b/c I know they've both fallen off.

DD's weight stayed flat from 9-15 months (prime walking time for her). She gained another 3-ish lb from 15-18 months, and stayed that way for her 19 mo appt (long story as to why she had another appt).
"They" say there's not much weight gain in that time period, and they tend to stair-step in weight anyway.
I don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but not much at all. 3-4lbs, maybe? She has been in the same size clothing (18-24mo) for a year.

OK, I guess I have the monster of the bunch! Alana was 23lbs 4ozs at her 1 year appointment and 35lbs 4ozs at her 2 year appointment, so, a gain of 12 pounds! She went from the 90th to the 97th%.
She grew 6 inches.
