What are the general times for 4 yr old Pre K? Whole day? Half day? I know they vary from place to place but I was just trying to get a consensus. TIA

The pre-k in Dekalb County in the public school is a full day (although they may start like 30 minutes later or get out 30 minutes or so earlier, I can't remember, but definitely not a half day). The private schools we are looking at for pre-k are half day, and ds's preschool is half day (either 8-12 or 9-1). One of the private school offers an extra 2 hours beyond that as well. The ones I have looked at, including public, that have full day have required nap times.

Our private PreK is full day. Something like 8-2 with a nap. Not totally sure of the start time, though.

I believe the GA pre-K DD will attend at her daycare center runs from 8:30 to 3:30.

Ethan's pre-k is from 7:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., M-F, but he has to stay a couple of hours past that due to me working.

I'm doing private pre-k MWF and it's from 9-1. But it varies depending on what you are looking for. The public pre-k are from 8:30-3:30p M-F.

My daughter does pre-k 9-1 four days a week and 7:50-2pm one day a week. The one day she is there all day, she comes home very wound up, even though they have a nap period. For my DD, she does better going half days.
