Has anyone else started thinking about LO's first birthday party? I know he is only 2 months but I am such a planner that I started looking online at themes. I want him to stop growing, but at the same time I can't wait for him to start laughing and being able to interact with us. I am so looking forward to seeing his personality emerge as he gets bigger. I am so in love.

Check out celebrateexpress.com They have awesome themes and 1st and 2nd birthday ideas. I used them for DS's first and second birthday stuff and will use them next year for both kids' joint party supplies. They are pretty reasonable on their prices.

I haven't ventured to birthday party ideas yet, but I decided her Halloween costume while I was still pregnant. And while I was sitting here I've decided we're going to have an Indiana Jones birthday party. :-D

I've already started looking for themes for my LO too! There are so many new cute ideas out there, it will be fun to do a girl party this time! I want to make a video with clips of my LO to show at her first birthday party, especially since sometimes its easy to forget the stages they go through in their first year!

That is a great idea! I know I am already going to be emotional that day...but a video of the first year would probably make me bawl. I have already gone back and watched his birth video a couple of times. I don't want to forget that day because it was one of the happiest days of my life.

HA! I thought I was surely the only one. I think we will have it at my dad's house-if the weather is nice we will make use of his big yard (damnit-I have a November birthday too, and could never do fun summer birthday parties!)

ROFLMAO! I thought I was the only one. I hate to admit it, but I was thinking about this in December when I came across some cute "1st birthday" outfits. I had to stop myself because I wanted to wait to see what until she has a little more of a personality so I can pick a theme accordingly. Keep us posted on what you find. I'm sure my inability to wait will take over in the next couple of wks.

Ha! Not only have I started planning her birthday but Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well. This year was such a bust because she was so new and we were in seclusion (ha ha). I'm super excited about all the events of next year!

I have:) It's going to be a huge year for birthday's for us with mu Dad's 60th my sister's 30th and my LO's 1st!! Summer starts here on Dec 1 so late Nov should be great for a bbq:)

I am pretty sure we are gonna go with a whale theme. We love all things beach and sea related. DS's room is a surfboard theme so it will grow with him. As a shower gift he got a little book that is attached to a stuffed whale. Ever since then in my mind I associate Spencer with whales. This is what I am thinking of...

Hello their, I am new again haven't been on this website forever. I was also in the state of mind of planning my LO birthday party. I love the outdoors but thinking it may be a little cold for them. I wanted to do a cowboy/ farm animal petting birthday party. Where they can wear their jeans, boots, and hats and ride a pony, pet the chickens etc. And I wanted a nice cake for him, but if I have it inside what to do than for his age. There will be 15-20 kids and the adults will have their own fun too. And I have a big family. Any advice?
