Mommy/Baby groups in the Des Moines area?

Does anyone know of any mommy/baby groups in the Des Moines/ Ankeny area? I am a new mom (my son is 8 months old) and I am looking to meet new moms. Thank you!

    I am having my baby at Methodist and I know through that hospital there were groups I could join once I had my baby to meet and talk to new moms.  Maybe look into if the hospital you gave birth at offers something like that.  Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

    come on over to the DM nest board.  there's a ton of mommies on there, and we have 2 FB groups, for SAHM and Working moms, and coordinate some playgroups, and we talk kids a lot!
