we made our first goal!!

I made a short term goal after the first 6 weeks of breastfeeding hell that I would stick it out for 4 months. We battled oversupply, undersupply, chapped and bleeding nipples, several growth spurts, not responding to a pump, biting, teething, and plenty of tears from both baby and me. But we made it and I feel so blessed we were able to make breastfeeding work for us. The last month has flown by because it's become SO easy since we've gotten the hang of it. I am so proud of both of us and we plan to continue for as long as DS wants. Thanks for all of your help, commiseration, and support.

Congrats.....I felt the same way as you and had a similar experience and DD is now almost 10 months old and we are still breast feeding. Soon to transition to WCM.....congrats again!
