Pregnant after IF

PW: I feel like crap :(

I'll be 13 weeks on Wednesday, and yesterday and today both I've had the worst nausea of my entire pregnancy.  I would have thought it would be getting better by now, not worse.  :(  Anyone else feeling crappy today?

  • I'm 11 weeks and my nausea is better (still taking phenogren and zofran when needed), but I have been getting the worst headaches. That definitely contributes to feeling crappy.

I started getting bad headaches around 11 weeks too!  Sorry for everyone else who feels yucky today.  I had a couple of teaser days where I felt fantastic, so I thought I hit that magic moment when it was over.  Guess not.

  • Sorry you're feelin crappy, you're at the peak of your hormones changing. I was puking from weeks 8-14 at night. Just try eating every 2 hours and make sure protein is in some of these smaller meals too, that may help keep nausea at bay.

Hmm, protein.  I hadn't heard that before.  Typically when I'm really nauseous my snacks consist of cheerios or saltines, about all I can keep down.  I'll have to see if adding some PB or cheese helps.  Thanks!

Crazy. Headaches are no fun, especially when you can't do anything about them.

  • Mine was worst right around the point you're at now and let up by 15-ish weeks.  Hang in there!

  • Mine has been coming and going over the last two weeks. I'm on phenergan, so when I'm sick I'm a walking zombie --- that stuff knocks me out! I'd rather be tired than nauseous though.
