4 month growth spurt?

ever since DS got his 4 month shots on friday, he's been waking up every other hour at night as if he were a newborn again. is it possible he's going through another growth spurt? he only does this at night, but not during the day.

yes, be very very afraid. it's when all sleep goes to absolute $hit. i had a perfectly happy, STTN-for-12-hours-didn't-even-make-a-peep baby at 3 months. I had it good for exactly a month, and then all hell broke loose and it's taken me until about 2 weeks ago to find something that resembles my old baby back.

i hate the 4MW with all of my soul.

(because I don't like being a complete debbie downer, I will say that the awful 7-8 times a night wakings did decrease after about 4-6 weeks).

oy. well this is going to make going to work 5x harder than it already is! i took a quick catnap in the "mother's room" after i pumped at lunch, but i'm already drowsy again.

my guy started his 4 month wakeful this weekend too. i am sooooo tired. his sleep had been a little off the last few weeks and i was hoping that was it, but no, this is the real deal. it didn't last months and months with my first one, so i'm hoping we get through this in a few weeks.
