How much formula after starting solids?

For all you FF moms of older babies: 

Emily is getting 3 "meals" of solids now. 2 oz of cereal in the morning, 1 jar of baby food at lunch, and another 2 oz of cereal in mid/late afternoon.

When she was younger, it was very evident when she was hungry, but now...not so much. So I don't really know if I am over feeding with the amount of formula she is getting. The last few weeks she has been getting 4 8 oz bottles. Sometimes she won't finish the whole thing though. Especially if it hasn't been very long since a solid feeding.

Yesterday she had a bottle at 1:50pm, cereal at 4:00pm, came home and went straight to sleep about 5:30 and slept til 3:50am! So she never got her 4th bottle. Generally she will wake sometime between 7 and 9 pm and I will give her the last bottle then, and she will go right back to sleep.

I just want to make sure she is getting enough to make it through the night but not over feeding her. I don't really like the habit of her getting up to take the last bottle, but I am not willing to keep her awake just to be able to give her the bottle before she goes to sleep.

Sorry this ended up so long! Any help with how much/when you give bottles and your babies' sleep schedule would be great!

    Eli takes about 24 oz a day of formula now, and he's getting 3 solid meals a day.  He gets 4 6 oz bottles, and some days he doesn't even finish them all.  I've heard that 18 oz is minimum when they're getting 3 meals a day, but that's only what I've heard.  Once in a blue moon Eli will need a 5th bottle, taking him up to 30 oz, but that's rare.  He takes his last bottle a couple of hours before bedtime, and makes it through the night.  So he goes roughly 12-13 hours between his last bottle and his first the next day.
