Leaky boobs at the hospital. Totally caught me off guard, lol. This was my third c/s and with the first two my milk came it at 3-4 days pp and at 4 days we were discharged so I never had leaky boobs at the hospital.

This time Jude was losing too much weight too fast and I needed to get my milk in or we were going to need formula so I nursed and nursed and nursed him. Milk came in on day 2. This evening my hospital gown was soaked all over the front after I had been snuggling with him. I totally blamed the baby... "he peed all over me!" Then I realized I'm already leaking.

Duh. I even had an internal debate while packing my bag as to whether I needed my nursing pads and finally told myself I didn't need to bring all kinds of stuff "just in case". So here I am with leaky boobs.... sent DH home to get my pads (it's only 5min away).

Note to self. Next time pack everything "just in case" Wink

I only hope I have such a problem! I made sure to pack my pads just in case. Good luck on your recovery!

Congratulations!!! We are still waiting on our little guy. I'll go throw a few pads in my hospital bag now! My milk came in on day 3 with DS.

I leaked like a faucet with my first on day 2, how in the world did I forget to put pads in my bag? Thank you for the reminder!! Smile

I was having that very same debate with myself. I guess I'll throw a few in ... just in case! Wink

I'm surprised they didn't have any for you at the hospital though...

LOL! I'm a 3rd timer, too, and my milk just came in a day or two ago! Funny how different it is for everyone.

I'm just lurking from May getting excited for my lo by reading about yours but I just wanted to say if you ask the nurse at the hospital they will give you nursing pads.

Oh sorry, i should have clarified - i didn't even ask the nurses. i imagine they do have some there. but i wanted frozen yogurt so it seemed like a good reason to send dh home, "oh and pick up some dessert on your way back!" Wink
