Our top contenders:

Anya Elise

Lauren Elise

Ava Elise - Ava is my grandmother's name and I really like it, but it's been so popular in the past 5 yrs

Ainsley (not sure MN) - our last names ends in "ey" so not sure if this is too matchy

Hayden Elise - like Hayden but worried abt the explosion of Aiden/Jayden/Braden etc w/ boy names

Elaina (not sure MN)

    I like Ava Lauren - it sounds very pretty.  You don't think Ava is way to overused, though?

    I like Anya, Ava, and Lauren. 

    Elania is okay.

    I really dislike Ainsley and Hayden. I agree with your concern about the "den" explosion. I know two pregnant women naming their sons either Haiden or Zayden. : /

    While I like the story behind Ava, I wouldn't use it since it is so popular. (There are two in my 3 yo preschool class of 16!) 

    Of your suggestions, I prefer Anya Elise. I like Ainsley Kate/Rose.

    Hayden is a boy's name in my book and I don't care for Elaina or Lauren.

    Thanks ladies, appreciate the feedback.  Once we came up w/ our son's name, we didn't think twice.  We're having a lot more trouble feeling "final" abt a girl's name and we're running out of time.

    My very favorite of your names is Elise; have you considered that as a first name? I also love Elaina. My sister's name is Elaine, but we often call her Lanie, which is an adorable nn.

    My favorites go in this order:

    Anya (pretty and not too common), Ainsley, Elaina (could do Lauren as a MN), Ava

    Hayden is too trendy IMO and Ava is really popular. Lauren is kind of boring and dated.

    I definitely like Anya best (and I think Anya Elise sounds fine).

    We love Elise as a first name, but my SIL is Alice and from Brazil, so it's pronounced ah-lease-e.  My brother often calls her ah-lease for short, and I think she'd be offended sharing the name.

    I vote for Lauren Elise - I think it has the best flow and is just a pretty, classic name.
