Pregnant after a Loss

Recommend your prenatal workout DVD

The trusty ol treadmill is getting boring and i'm only almost 7 weeks. I need to mix it up a little. What's your favorite prenatal workout DVD?

  • I haven't used a DVD but I have found some great workouts on Youtube.  I loved pilates PP so I've been doing a few prenatal pilates videos from there.  Best part is that they're free and, if you don't like it, you can move onto the next one!

what a great idea to look at youtube! never thought of that before!

I was thinking that I needed to find something as well. I was maybe thinking of a prenatal yoga, but then remembered how much I actually dislike yoga so figured that wouldn't go over so well!Smile

I tried the treadmill on Saturday and I couldn't run further than a half mile because my boobs hurt SO bad when I was running. I was tempted to hold them and continue...but since I was at the gym and not the privacy of my own home I decided this was a little inappropriate Stick out tongue

  • I have Summer Sanders Prenatal Workout.  It has custom routines for each trimester and includes full and express workout options.  It lists itself as a cardio and toning but quite honestly, I don't really feel the cardio but it has definitely toned up my legs, arms and back.  Plus, I like the fact a very pregnant Summer is doing the exercises right along with you.

  • I have and love Shiva Rea's Prenatal Yoga. It had really helped me with Pgal anxiety.

Also, my toddler loves to join me, so I don't have to work around her (other than not falling on her).
