Thank Yous with Birth Announcements

Hope everyone with outside and inside babies is hanging in there.  I knew this wouldn't be easy but gracious I didn't know it was going to be this hard!

Etiquette question - Is it tacky to save a stamp/addressing, etc and put a thank you note in with the birth announcement?

    I don't think it's tacky. I think they will be excited to get both.

    I'm doing it- my friends and family are pretty laid back & would agree it's silly to do otherwise.

    I wrote all my thank you's right after the baby shower but now that the baby is here we've received a few more gifts and I'm going to include the thank you with the announcement.
