Twins?

I have had a feeling in my gut (haha) since about my 6th week that we are having twins, but my first appointment is not until 2/3. I didn't have severe m/s, but my weight gain has been about 8 lbs so far and I can definitely feel the top of my uterus already. My cousins are twins, but no other hx of twins in either family.  Anyone else have a sense of twins before it was confirmed? Or maybe I just need to lay off the carbs :)

    Even if you were pregnant with twins, weight gain wouldn't be that high. Good luck though.

    I've known we're having twins for 5 weeks now.  (I did IVF so I've been getting u/s's since about 6 weeks)  I haven't had any weight gain yet but I have lost about 20 pounds.

    I'm now the advocate of weight gain doesn't mean anything in pregnancy. lol

    I'm having twins and lost weight too, no gain. I knew also from IVF.

    I had twins and didn't have an "inkling" of being pregnant with them. I also didn't gain weight til maybe my 16th week.

    I am 8 and a half weeks pregnant with twins and had a feeling it was only one! I also have gained 0 weight and have had 0 m/s. Who knows though, your feeling might be right! Good luck! Praying for you!

    I'm pregnant with twins and had no idea or feeling (though I guess I didn't about the whole pregnancy thing before I found out either).  Now I'm actually down about 11 pounds from my pre-pregnancy typical weight (give or take a few).........

    I knew I was having twins from 5 weeks but have lost 14lbs because I am so sick

    My sister guessed her own twin pregnancy and we have no family history. Basically, until you learn any different, you're talking crazy talk.  Twins are really rare. However, if it turns out you are pregnant with twins, you'll get psychic bragging rights for life ;)

    that would be pretty awesome.

    I would be using that power for evil more so- as in....I have a "feeling" that my body is going to need to rest tonight on the couch with my magazines & a food rub this evening. or as in I have a "feeling" that my restaurant pick over our restaurant pick with settle better with the babies.
