I've never been to one but am curious about the quality of furniture collections there vs BRU so I may just venture out to one especially if it means I can use my Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons there. Saving 20% is 20% right. Do they let you the Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons and Buy, Buy, Baby?
Re: BuyBuyBaby
We bought our crib at BBB back when we were getting ready for DD #1 and we saved a lot using a 20% coupon (well, FIL save a lot, he bought the crib for us). PP is right, the coupon cannot be expired, whether its Bed Bath and Beyond or Buy Buy Baby, and there are certain brands that are excluded, though I find that is flexible too.
Since then, we bought furniture for the girls' bedroom at Baby2Teen in Manassas and we thrilled with the prices and selection.
It seems around here the MD ladies go to Great Beginnings and the VA ladies go to Baby2Teen to at least look around and get ideas, but also to get great prices.
I think it's fun looking around BBB for ideas though - I go to the one in Springfield and they have cribs to look at to get ideas. Wherever you end up picking one, I'd call B2T and GB and see who has the best price.
BBB wouldn't let me use a Bed Bath & Beyond coupon for furniture, because the coupons are only interchangeable for things that they sell at both stores. Since they don't sell furniture at Bed, Bath & Beyond, you can't use that coupon at BBB. Make sense? Then again, that might have been just the one person I talked to.
I did use a BBB coupon on the furniture though and that worked fine--I even did it retroactively (when we picked it up, they gave us the difference, I think).

I remember you posting about that. The BBB stores are quite a distance from me. I really don't want to make a wasted trip. Guess I could call but then I worry about someone telling me wrong info. BRU is an hour from our house. Either way I apparently live in the middle of no where, where the selection of stores is very limited.
I think you may have had a rogue cashier, because I used a Bed, Bath, and Beyond coupon to buy a carseat at Buy, Buy, Baby, and I'm pretty sure they don't sell carseats at Bed, Bath and Beyond. There are exclusions on the bottom of Bed, Bath, and Beyond coupons for things that are clearly baby-related, like strollers and carseats, so I think that implies they are interchangeable.
You would be surprised at what Bed, Bath, and Beyond started selling on its website when they acquired BuyBuyBaby. https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/search/search.aspx/car-seat/?sstr=car+seat&grid=20&dim=1&nty=1&
I love BuyBuyBaby and think they are just the best around for all things baby - the staff's knowledge and their return policies just cannot be matched anywhere. That said, Baby2Teen in Manassas was great for high-quality furniture. We got DS's stuff there and are thrilled with the quality of our Munire dressers.
We love you baby - m/c - 09/10/2011
Ditto tomandcourt - the folks said I had to use a Buy Buy Baby coupon on furniture. Even though they accept competitor and Bed Bath and Beyond coupons for everything else, with furniture it has to be Buy Buy Baby.
That said, if you sign up for their email you'll get emailed a one-time-use 20% coupon, so sign up, have DH sign up, sign up your work email, etc.
Just don't do it until you're ready to buy because they expire quick. They'll let you use one for each piece of furniture.
We got all of DS's stuff there and I'm really happy with it.
