Dd will be 22 months when lo # 2 is born. Right now we barely use the stroller because most of the time I never go out alone. I always have my parents or brother to help me run around with DD or carry her around when she falls asleep. However I won't be having the same luck once baby # 2 gets here because they are planning to move out by the middle of June. I'm thinking I might need a double stroller any of you have a double stroller or is planning to get one? One do you have on mind? What kind? Brand? Model?
TIA
Re: Getting a Doulble Stroller Anyone?
Have you looked into the sit n stand strollers?
If you want a true double I like the Contours Options Tandem Stroller.
If this stroller was around when my girls were born I would have bought it.
Sadly it was not and I had a Graco Duo Glider which was fine. Alot of people complain its is heavy and and hard to steer. I never had an issue with pushing, steering or folding it and I used it until the girls were 4yrs old. (i know, I was one of those moms)

I like my city mini double, but if your older one isn't used to be in a stroller much (like mine was at 20 months already when #2 came along), I'd definitely look into the Joovy Ultralight sit n stand. My youngest LOVED stealing the bench seat on the back from about 19 months on from her big sister, so don't let the idea that she'd have to stand deter you. It has a strap that you'd use around her waist and between legs. Got mine off craigslist for $100, which made my friend who got hers new for over $250 jealous. :-)
The sit n stand gets used WAY more than the CM double that I dropped $400 on.... bummer.
DS was 22 months when DD was born and we decided to get a double stroller. I thought about the sit'n'stand kinds, but didnt think that DS, at 22 months, would sit nicely enough on that little seat. He loved to walk and run, but when he was strapped into his stroller, he also sat well (most of the time). So we decided to invest in a double so that he could sit more comfortably , have a sun shade, be buckled safely, and even recline should he be tired.
We got the Bumbleride Indie Twin and have really loved it. It's a side-by-side, but it's fairly narrow and we havent had any trouble with doorways, etc. The sunshades are large, the seats recline individually, the handle is really height adjustable and comfortable, it has great, nice wheels, and it's steers beautifully

I got a duoglider at a yard sale for $30 but I am thinking of getting a sit and stand also! A PP is right...the duoglider is ridiculously heavy, or at least the model I got was. I am not a fancy stroller person, as I rarely use a stroller where I live, and purchasing the city select or bumbleride would just not make sense for me. I have a graco single now and love it (even though many bumpies would give it horrible reviews).
I noticed this joovy sit n stand on amazon for $132 and think its a good price!

We got this one at a rummage sale for $50.00. I have used it a few times with my daughter and my nephew and it works great.
