We're sound chicken skewers tonight for a small gtg at our house. The chicken is cut into 2inch x 2inch cubes. I'm going to skewer them, put them in the oven to mostly cook, and then throw them on the grill tonight for a quick finish.
How long and at what temp would you bake them? If it makes a difference, they've been sitting in marinade since last night in the fridge.
Re: Npgalr: help me make chicken
Honestly, if you're grilling them anyway later, I'd just cook them fresh. A 2x2 cube won't take much longer to cook than it would to re-heat, plus you'll ensure juicy chicken and not too dry.
If you're gonna pre-bake in the oven, I imagine just cook them at 350. One of those things you'll probably need to just watch and play it by ear. If you want them cooked all the way through, I would think to check after 5-10 min and press on them. If they're firm they're done. If still squishy, then they're still raw in the middle.
Happy chicken eatin!
