I am wondering if you all have any suggestions for NIP in general, particularly with a carrier. I have a moby, a ring sling, and an ergo with the insert. I LOVE the moby and the ergo. The ring sling isn't really my fave right now, though, I can get LO in it without a problem. The moby is awesome for going out if I am going to be sitting down some where (like church). I put it on under my coat before we leave and stick DD in it when we get there. Only trouble is, I'm not sure how nursing would work in it. I've watched a youtube video before, but once she's in there I feel like it's too awkward. I tried nursing in the ring sling today, but wasnt very successful, plus I feel like it's awkward to try to use in the winter since it doesn't go under a coat very well. Do you tend to just take LO's out of the carrier to NIP? I still have to help LO latch on, so when I do NIP I use a nursing cover because I am more comfortable that way....but it would be nice if I could find a good way to do it in the carrier. Perhaps it will just take some practice and patience, but any tips would be great!

This mon has a toddler, but I did this when I learned it when DS was 5 weeks. This carry is a bit different than the standard "Moby carry", as the cumberbund goes on the inside. Having the baby in this pocket allows you to wiggle him higher or lower as needed.
