My husband and I have been trying to concieve since August. Prior to that I was on Birth control which gave me regular periods. After I stopped birht control I've gotten my period 2-3 times. My last period was on Nov. 20. I've read a little about people taking fertitiy vitamins to help them become regular and better chances of getting pregnant. Has anyone here used them? Just trying to get some more info from people with experience. Thanks
Re: Fertility vitamins for irregular period?
This. You may be anovulatory since your cycles are so far apart. If you stopped bc in August you should be having regular cycles by now. The only other advice I would tell you is to start BBT. This would tell you for sure whether you are ovulating and just having long cycles or if you are anovulatory. Fertilityfriend.com is a good place to start to learn how to temp. It's free and a lot of people on the board use it.
Someone had recommended Fertili Tea to me. It's supposed to be a natural fertility aid and help regulate you. I havn't tried it yet but am planning on ordering some if I'm not pregnant this month.

Actually it can take up to a year to get back a regular cycle after coming off of birth control pills, it took me that long (and they still aren't completely regular) My doctor told me it was normal. However, like other PP suggested go to your doc to get checked out and they may perscribe Provera to jump start your cycles...
No. There is zero reason to go in for expensive bloodwork a mere 5 months after coming off of BCPs. Call your OB/GYN and ask for Provera to jumpstart your next cycle. Starting temping and go from there.
