90%, almost 4cm. Contractions every 5-7 minutes....ugh!

Ended up in L&d last night with contractions 5 minutes apart and was sent home due to a lack of progress. Now laboring at home with contractions every 6-10 minutes. Any ideas to speed this along? I'm getting a bit discouraged because this is pretty painful, but I don't want to go in again just to be sent home.
TTC since 06/10

Walk, bounce on a yoga ball...at this stage I can't imagine sex would be very doable....

I agree moving around and a ball might help. But other than that just don't go in to the hospital too soon if you can help it. With my first I went in when I thought I was going to give birth in the toilet when the contractions were like every 2 minutes and unbearable and I was only 6 cm dilated and still had about 4 more hours of labor at the hospital.
Good luck! And I'm pretty sure I'm in labor now because I've been having steady contractions for about 2 hrs but this time I'm not sure how long to wait since it's my second and I don't want to wait too long!
