Multiples

Decided to try to make them look different

I don't think it worked as well as I'd hoped (there's a pic on my blog, link in sig) but I cut their hair different lengths. It's more noticable IRL, so hopefully it will help their friends at school tell them apart more easily.

Fingers crossed!

Re: Decided to try to make them look different

  • Total lurker here (I am a twin so does that give me a pass???)....

I just had to tell you that your boys are so flipping cute!!!!!  They have the most engaging little smiles ever!

  • Hope it helps! I'm sure they get so tired of all the questions. Is it also possible for them to wear different uniform shirts? I know the school I am looking at for mine next year allows red, white or blue uniform shirts. I'm sure it's not that easy or you would have already done that!

unfortunately, the only choices are red and white and there's no way in HELL i'm putting 4 year old boys in white shirts. :P but they do wear different colored shoes.

  • I can see the difference in hair, but those bright smiles are still identical!!!  Wish you lived in Chicago, so I could hire you for photos!  You've got talent.

  • Nice effort but it didn't work.  They still look IDENTICAL!  If it makes you feel better, my kids don't look anything alike and everyone still mixes them up.  I think it's just a multiples thing.

  • Not sure how long it'll last before it grows out, but I think you can tell the difference now. And FWIW, I can always pick out Miles. I think he looks like my DS2. Smile

  • I can see slight differences in your boys but they are all cute!! I think it's a MoM thing - we all seem to have an easier time differentiating, even when it comes to other people's kids. I guess we just know what to look for.
