Vaginal dryness...Is glycerin safe as a lube?

I'm 25 weeks pregnant...Sex was fine until 2 weeks ago...all my natural lubricant just disappears after about 2 minutes of sex!  I've been using glycerin to re-lubricate, which works great, it was a spur of the moment thing but now i'm wondering if i should continue to use it.

    I don't think it's necessarily unsafe, but I would use an actual lubricant like Astroglide or KY that's specifically for that purpose since it's been tested internally and glycerin is usually for external use only.

    If you are at all prone to UTIs or yeast infections, avoid glycerine and get a water-based lubricant.
