I Fell Down the Stairs Today w/ DD

I slipped on the second or third step from the bottom, my feet went out from under me and DD fell out of my arms onto the floor. I landed on the left side of my butt and elbows. Poor DD got a small bloody nose out of it but she's okay. My butt and elbows are killing me.

It was seriously one of the scariest moments of my life.

I know almost exactly how you feel. I slipped on ice on our front steps, which are pretty steep, with LO, but she was in the car seat. I always thought I'd be able to hold on if I fell with her, whether it was in my arms or the car seat, but it just isn't always possible Sad

I'm glad nothing serious happened to either of you. I hope you and your LO heal quickly.

oh no! This is my big fear too...I fell down the last 2-3 steps when I was about 6 months pregnant and was so scared I started crying hysterically!

I bet you were squeezing DD so tight after!

I'm so sorry. I know how terrifying that is. It happened to us about a month ago. I'm still recovering from some of the bruises (I twisted my ankle and fell down a whole flight of stairs), but LO was over it by the next day. I'm sure yours will be, too. I hope you heal well and get over the scare!
