Home security systems

I am looking for some reccomendations on who to use for a security system for our house. I have seen a post before about this but I could not find it. Thanks in advance for any advice!

    We live in the DFW area, but we've been happy with ADT. The few times we have accidentally set it off, they were very prompt in their response.

    We use Sloan Security.  It's very affordable and we haven't had any issues with them.  (We haven't had any emergencies, though.)  I think a lot of the ladies here use them.

    We have Guardian and i've been really happy with them. Our alarm has gone off twice, once was actually yesterday, and they've called immediately and sent a police officer out. the first time we were OOT.

    i've also called them a coulpe times just to ask questions about setting the alarm and they've been super helpful and you can immediately talk to a person. i called last week around 9pm to ask about bypassing a zone and spoke to a person who was able to walk me through what i needed to punch in.

    i don't know how their pricing compares, but i've been extremely happy with their service.

    I'm another happy Sloan customer.

    I had a problem where (unknown to me) my phone line was damaged in a storm and my alarm pad started beeping every few seconds non-stop.  The owner of the company was great about working with me via phone after hours to get things figured out.

    Me too!  Cheapest one out there and no issues at all!
