So I have a friend who is a lesbian. Her and her partner were going to try and get pregnant this year through IVF. Anyways, she posts a letter on FB dedicated to her daughter.

Does anyone else find that odd? Like how does she know she's going to have a daughter? What if she has a boy? Oh and she she also wrote what she named her.

Maybe I am just being weird myself and this is normal.

 

FTR I don't find it odd that she wrote a letter to her future baby, its the fact that she wrote it to a baby who is going to be a girl when she doesn't know for sure.

    Just to go out on a limb, maybe they're going to do the IVF with a clinic that allows sex selection??  Or maybe there's a genetic disorder involved that requires female children (like I have, it's not unheard of).  

    Anyhow, yeah, it's a little odd, but who knows.  TTGP does weird things to people.

    If that were the case it wouldn't be so odd, but they are going the regular route were they are going to find out the sex of the baby like everyone else.

    is it possible she is pregnant and that is how she is letting everyone know?

    I am pretty close with them, they aren't pregnant. I also know she isn't because she says she is not ready to have her yet, maybe next year.

    So she posted a letter to a daughter that neither of them are pregnant with? Yeah, that's a little odd.
