I'm thankful for my job. Not only that I have one but that they are so flexible and accommodating. I had to call in the past 2 days since Evan is (still) sick. Today I felt soooo bad, since I called in kind of last minute (I was planning on going to work and dropping E off at my parents house... but his fever spiked just as we were getting ready to leave the house and he was soooo clingy, I just couldn't leave him!) My manager was super cool, and told me not even to worry about it, just take care of my little guy. It's such a relief.
I'm also thankful that Evan is sound asleep. Hoping he wakes up feeling better!
I am so thankful for my loving and caring dh. You over hear alot in a store and yesterday I overheard a woman talking about her sister getting beat up my her boyfriend and another talking about her ex beating her 4 yr old child. It makes me realize how lucky I am to have a dh that would never lay a hand on me or our children
I'm grateful those idiot drivers on the roads this afternoon didn't crash into us. All the accidents I saw were pickup trucks and SUVs ...obv people who felt overconfident and were driving way too fast.
I am so thankful for my mom. This is a really hectic time at work for me, and DH has to work every chance he can, so when Ian was sick this weekend, she offered to come to my house on a second's notice if need be so that DH and I didn't have to take the day off. DH wasn't called in on Tuesday, so it worked out OK, but I so grateful that the option is there if I need it.
And I know that I whined about this in the FFFC post, but I am really thankful for the special date night DH put together for the 10th anniversary of our first date. It's been several months since we've had a date night of any kind, and it was so nice to just have an adult dinner with wine and uninterrupted conversation. Plus, it was so sweet how all of the staff made a point of coming over to wish us a happy anniversary - love that place!
I'm so thankful to have a nice warm house today. After Justin's pre-K I took the kids to Wegmans juuust as it was getting nasty out. Now looking outside, I am happy to have nowhere to go
I am so thankful for my job. I love what I do and the people that I serve and work with. I rarely have a bad day at work, and today was one of those really good days. I am thankful for the flexibility to decrease my hours and have a flexible schedule, so I am able to be home with the boys the 2 days a week.

Oohh, I agree! I see and hear so much at work that I am very grateful for my life and dh.
