Re: FFFC?

  • I don't have many juicy things...

But, my favorite pair of jeans to wear right now are maternity jeans.  I have regular jeans that fit, but these have a nice elastic waistband (they're not panel jeans or anything) and I think they look much cuter on my than my others.

And, I worked out this morning (YAY!) and totally just blew it by eating all the sloppy joes leftover from the open house last night.  (BOO!)

  • I'm still annoyed that DH went to his cousin's funeral.  He hadn't seen him in at least 15 years and there were plenty of people from OOT that didn't go.  And that we put the $400 that FIL returned to us after 7 years, right into all the travel expenses.

  • No judging...

J hasn't had a bath or shower in like 5 days. He is fighting me so hard on them lately I just don't have the energy this week. I give him the ole' washcloth wipedown after he brushes his teeth everyday but I think I have to put my foot down today.

I bought a ridiculous bathing suit online for vacation. Tried it on, had a little cry and mailed it back all in 10 mins.

Sometimes J doesn't try/focus at his hockey lesson and (only on the inside) I get super aggravated, I 'm competitive and I don't like to see all the other kids doing better.

B has been driving me insane lately with his whining and I haven't been my most patient. I was playing with him just now and tipped him upside down. He got FOUR teeth this week... oopsie :(

  • The cashier at walgreens yesterday really screwed up my order.. I bought a bix box of diapers and two cans of formula and some toilet paper and a bottle of water. The formula was supposed to be BOGO 50% off and i had two of those $5 off store brand formula coupons, but somehow she didn't ring up either can of formula but still took the coupons off (I saw her enter them manually, and she checked the formula to make sure it was the right kind).. Sooo.. I got all that stuff for less than the box of diapers would normally cost. I feel kind of guilty for not saying something.. (don't turn me in Julie, it wasn't your store.). I knew something was wrong when she told me the total.. but I didn't know what.

  • I just ate 6 peices of sponge candy. 6, that's like 350 calories. I am secretly thanking my co-worker but outwardly making a big deal about bringing chocolate in. I'm going to be kicking myself tonight when I have to do that much more time on the treadmill!

  • I haven't bathed Clayton yet period. You know how before his hair had like highlights in it? Well it is all just dark brown and greasy right now, probably from everyone rubbing their hands in it. And he has peed all over himself multiple times now bc im too slow with the new diaper. His cord fell off 3 days ago, so i CAN bathe him. I just keep putting it off bc when we bathed elizabeth as a baby it made her cluster feed for hours afterwards. So I don't want to risk it. Dh works today and tomorrow, so maybe Sunday or Monday I will when he can give me a hand with dd while I bathe ds.

There's been some major (personell and work piling up) issues at work since I have been out and I love hearing about it and getting texts about it from some of the techs. I know I should hope it runs smoothly, but I can't help but be entertained by it all.

I feel like looking back at my experience with dd - the breastfeeding issues really made me pretty much hate her whole newborn life.  Especially now that I find myself looking at clayton while nursing him and just thinking how sweet and peaceful he looks.  I never ever did that with her, in fact I could hardly look at her while she was nursing bc of the pain.  Although, now Clayton gets put down and left anytime I am not nursing or changing him so that I can play with dd.  He stared at a light bulb for a good half hour this morning while I played trains with Ellie until he fell asleep on his own.  So basically both of their newborn lives suck.  Good thing they won't remember that stage and I am much better with the toddler stage.

  • Nothing juicy here...

T minus 1 week from my c-section and I'm starting to freak out! I know it can be sooner but I/we just dont feel ready for a baby! I'm nervous about how DD will be with it all and going back to the newborn stage. Not to mention my doc told me today that she thinks baby is posterior (like DD was)-so I know if I go into labor it's goign to be hell again like hers was-I'm dreading it!

  • I was trying to teach my (17 yr old) SIL a lesson in responsibility by not answering interview questions for a class for her via email, and gave her 2 days I was available this week for the interview.  I know the project is due today, but she never called to interview me.  (I called her Tuesday, but she never called back.)  Part of me feels guilty, but the other part thinks she deserves to fail because she has know about this since September!
