Do your kids cough until they throw up?

We've had a minor cold/cough/crud being passed around the house for the last few weeks. This turned into a double ear infection for my 3 yo, but is just a cough so far for my 4 yo. Both of them have had coughing fits where they cough until they throw up today. I never remember doing this so it seems weird to me. Do your kiddos do this?

Yes, and DD's pedi says it's not uncommon because kids have super sensitive gag reflexes.

Ok, that makes sense. But man I wish it didn't always happen at 4AM right in the bed!

Oh yeah. It's happened to us on multiple occasions. Once in the car (GROSS). It's totally normal and not really anything you can do.

Mine don't but two of our little friends do. I think it's normal. Gross, but normal.

Ok, that makes sense. But man I wish it didn't always happen at 4AM right in the bed!

That's exactly what happens to us..and we bed share.
