Hello! My name is Sammi I am 31 almost 32 and I have been married to my husband Brandon far almost 6 years! I am a new mommy to 2 little girls who were born on January 1st! Brooklyn Avery was born 1st followed by her sister Eliana Meredith! They are both in the NICU right now since they were both born under 4lbs. They both have breathing and feeding tubes as well as Brooke has Apnea and Respiratory distress syndrome. Ellie has apnea,bradycardia,respiratory distress syndrome and she was diagnosed at 1 week old on January 8th with Juvenile Diabetes. So we are learning the ropes of preemies and diabetes. I hope it's not to late to join this group!Sammi

Hello and CONGRATS on your twin girls! I can't imagine how much fun that will be to have two little girls to dress up:) (No offense to my LO, of course ha ha, boys are fun too.)
Feel free to ask away if you have any questions, etc. I found this board when I was 28 weeks pregnant and now, 9 months later, I still check in with the other ladies if I need advice!

She was losing lots of weight and when feeding eating tons and going pee a lot as well. She also had her body using her muscles for energy and it was eating away at her bones. Her keytones were also very high.
