Newborn photos

What age is the best time to take them? I have a package from Clix for ds's first year that I got real cheap, so I can basically book it anytime I want since they always have openings now that the holiday rush is over.

i think they say anytime before 6 weeks but i did nats 1 day before she was 3 weeks and i dont think she looked like a newborn in them. i might just be crazy though.

I think prime time is 7-10 days, any time after 2 weeks and they stop doing that sleepy thing all the time and that makes it harder to get the pictures.

I think as soon as possible is what they say. Jules was born on a Tuesday and we did hers on the following Saturday because our photography stressed to do it early. I would just try to do it when he's nice and sleepy.
