TTC after 35

Uneducated newbie here with a ?

You guys all are so knowledgeable about what's going on with your cycles etc. I know some but can anyone tell me what it means if your cycle lasts like 39 days? After my period finally started coming back it seemed all over the place, like one time I had a close to normal cycle of 32 days but mostly it seemd like they were 37 or 39 days apart. I didn't know if I was even ovulating becuse I didn't get spooked into seriously TTC until after my M/C last week...

Re: Uneducated newbie here with a ?

  • Cycles vary in length.  The first prer ovulation is the part that varies.  It is to my understanding that the second half of your cycle is always the same # of days.  Ovulation will occur when follicle is fully developed and ready to be released.  Might want to sign up for a free fertility friend account.  Even though I don't chart-I have found their education tutorials to be very thorough and easy to understand.  Only way to know for sure if you ovulated is to temp, temp rises after ovulation-or to have progesterone checked on cd21.
