I'm very sorry if this is something that is asked often. I skimmed a couple pages of threads and checked the FAQs and didn't come across something to help me.
My question is which is the best carrier for a NB in the summer.
I feel like with a 20 month old, I'll need to be wearing baby as much as possible. Atleast that would make things the easiest. I have the Ergo from when DD was a baby, and I was never crazy about the infant insert. I recently ordered the Moby after hearing such rave reviews, but I'm now hearing that the Moby can get very warm. It can get hot and humid where I live. I do have central air in my home, but I'm worried about when we take walks or take DD to the park.
Will we be fine with the Moby? Or are there better options for warmer weather? My due date is June 8th.
Re: I need carrier help
A ring sling in a light summer fabric would be nice. You can find silk ones that I think would be perfect. I have a Maya ring sling that's cotton--it's a little heavy weight for summer. I also have a summer wool Comfy Joey, but I felt like that was a little coarse on newborn baby's skin. I've also seen them in Tencel and linen, which might be nice. Ring slings are great for newborns.

My LO was born more towards the end of June and the Moby often was too hot. When she was a NB, we loved our mei tai. We have a homemade one, so it was very light weight. When she got a little bigger, we used the K'Tan and our ring sling.
It's not that we never used the Moby, but I felt like I got sweaty in it faster. I think the ring sling and mei tai were the most breathable.
