Our 6 month update

I'm in Seattle and snowed in (by 6"). I made it to work today but spent 2 hours before calling it a day and slowly made it home. the roads are a disaster. I did take a THREE HOUR NAP before going to pick baby up from daycare (it's an in-home daycare 2 miles from my house)

We had our 6 month well child yesterday. Baby Louie is 13 pounds 3 oz (still not even on the charts) and 26.25" long. And while he may be small, he is MIGHTY! He was waving "hi" and "bye" to the doctor, can sit up, crawl, and stands holding on to stuff. He's vocalizing "Bababa", "Dadada", "mamama" and "gagaga". He's way ahead of the curve in all areas except size :)

His first tooth broke through yesterday too! He's healthy again, no fever but still a little fussy from teething or shots. He's sleeping a little better, 3 hour stretch in the first part of the night but staying awake longer before going back to sleep for an hour or so.

We've got full steam ahead on solids and encouraged to give high fats foods. i'm not a fan of baby foods per se, more along the lines of Baby Led Weaning (which for us means more of just letting him eat off our plates in addition to whole foods).

That's about it for our update!

    I am so happy to hear he's going great! He's so cute in that picture in your siggy (and your other son). 6 months already, time flies huh? I love the three hour nap, nice!

    Wow at doing all those things! He's probably on the small size because it sounds like he's a busy little bee.  He'll probably eat you out of house and home when he's older and will have no fat to show.  My youngest son is like that and has a built in six pack.  Makes my oldest son mad because he has to work at it.
