Colic calm?

Has anyone used this? Has it worked for you? L.o. Has reflux ( shes on zantac) and terrible gas. Just looking for a way to make her a little more comfy. Tia

Re: Colic calm?

  • Have you tried probiotics?

  • No I haven't. I will do research on them. They have not come up in any of my searches and the doctor never suggested them so I hadn't even thought of it. Thanks!

  • I haven't posted over here before, but I used this stuff on my son and thought I'd give my opinion.... I loved it!  We were desperate for a solution when my son developed what the doctor called "3 month colic".  He would projectile vomit all the time, and scream after eating... and only certain "holds" would make him comfortable.  I ordered a ton of this stuff and it really helped to calm him.  Now my son is 4 and I still have some left over, and I've used it on the dog a time or two when he's having tummy troubles.  Actually, it helped save him when he got into chocolate over Christmas... as it helped keep the toxins from being further absorbed by his system.

But I would definitely give it a try.  It isn't fruity flavored however, and can be messy if she spits up afterwards (since it is liquid charcoal), but my son hardly ever spit up after using it.  For us it was a life saver!

  • We used it with our twins. They had reflux and were on Prevacid, but adding in Colic Calm when they were extra fussy really seemed to help. We didn't use it a ton (and perhaps obviously not close in time to the Prevacid doses), but it was great to have as an additional tool to help them be more comfortable.
