  I have a horrible sinus thing that won't go away. Hoping this is the worst health issue that I have this winter!

  Yes I have a cold   It sucks so bad because I can't take the cold meds I usually take that I know work.  My doctor gave me a list when I was pregnant last of medicines that are safe for different things.
  

   

  For colds:

  Chloraseptic Spray/throat lozenges

  Robitussin (plain)

  Vicks Vapor rub

  Mucinex DM

  Cool mist vaporizer

  Chicken soup (like this will help... ugh)

  Plenty of rest and fluids (10-12 eight ounce glasses a day)

   

  For allergies:

  Claritin

  Zyrtec

  Chlor-trimeton

  Ugh, I do. This is my first day at work this week because I've been on the couch trying to keep myself alive for the past 3 days.

  I called my RE's office to find out what I could take.  The nurse sent me a list, which included Benadryl, Mucinex, cough drops and Robitussin.  There was a special note saying NOT to take Sudafed in 1st Tri as it disrupts blood flow to the placenta.

  Me.  It sucks, but I'm surviving on lots and lots of fluids, gargling with salt-water, and running my humidifier at night.  Chloraseptic lozenges have been a huge help as well.

  Me, too. I'm getting conflicting info about some of the meds (specifically Robitussin and Sudafed) so I'm going to try to tough it out as long as I can. I'm drinking lots of fluids and eating soups, too. Oh, and I'm doing nasal lavage.

  I'm fighting with all my might to keep DH's cold from taking over my body Of course he goes OOT Saturday night for 10 days and he's going to leave this behind for me and DD.

  I have been popping Kyolic Garlic pills like no one's business, eating garlic on anything and everything I can think of that doesn't make me want to hurl and I'm chugging OJ from a 2 qt container right now. Klassy.

  no cold here, but i have bronchitis and an ear infection so i'm on decently strong meds. I have been told we can take mucinex though so that may help.

  I just got over a cold and I was told by the nurse I could take anything DM and Tylonal Cold (day and night).  I tried to avoid any medications but it got to the point where it was too much and figured that wasnt good for the baby either so I caved and took tylonal - only had to take it 2x and I was better   I also drank lots of hot chocolate
